July - Bristol
Shakespeare Festival. See the Bard's works performed all around
the city in outdoor spaces and unusual spaces.
1st
July - Berkshire Motor
Show, Reading. Fans of all things motorised will enjoy the range
of vehicles on display. There will be trophies for best 4x4, classic,
customised, plus motor bike and HGV.
6th-7th
July - Rock Oyster
Festival, Cornwall. A family based festival with food, music and
children's activities such as circus workshops, plays and kids yoga.
6th-22nd
July - Buxton
International Festival, Derbyshire. A sophicated mixture of
opera, music and books fills Buxton for three weeks.
7th
July - National
Meadows Day, around the country. A celebration of meadows and
grasslands whether it is in the country, urban areas or your own
local space. Look out for events in your area.
7th-8th
July - Woodhall Spa
1940's Festival, Lincolnshire. The whole of this village goes
back to the 1940's for a weekend of wartime nostalgia. Dress up and
enjoy stepping back in time.
7th-15th
July - Hythe Festival,
Kent. The seaside town showcases the best in local culture for a week
long arts and heritage festival.
18th-22nd
July - RHS
Flower Show Tatton Park. The RHS summer shows moves onto Tatton
Park in Cheshire. Look out for The Poisonous Garden.
21st-22nd
July - Farnborough
International Airshow. The premier airshow in the UK with over
150 aircraft and five hours of flying. Not to be missed is a display
by the world famous Red Arrows.
26th-29th
July - Warwick Folk
Festival. A style of folk music for everyone whether you like
traditional or contemporary folk music.
28th
July - Norwich Pride.
Returning for its tenth year the city centre will be filled with
celebrations of diversity plus the parade.
