There are certain times of
the year when you should push the boat out when it comes to cake
making. Easter is one of these times and the use of chocolate eggs is
compulsory! Kate from The
Gluten Free Alchemist has used her trusty chocolate cake recipe
as the base for a Gluten Free Rich and Chocolately Golden Egg
Cake. With chocolate cigarillos running round the outside, a
thick layer of chocolate ganache covering the top and a vanilla
buttercream filling this is one showstopper of a cake. The luxurious
feel of the cake is finished off with a selection of golden mini
eggs.
I went for the yellow of
lemon and a Gluten
Free Lemon and Yogurt Cake. I made it for a bake sale and it
went down a storm. The yogurt gives it the extra liquid needed with
gluten free flour and a bit of extra whisking gave it the necessary
rise.
I'll be back in a couple of

square!
