We were looking at the
national football stadium for last week's Sunday
Snap. I asked what stadium it was and the answer is
Wembley
Scoring the winner with the
correct answer were Susan,
Angela,
Michelle,
Stephen, Sonia,
Erica, Kara,
Jen and Cass.
For this week I have a guest
photograph from Mr JibberJabber. Whilst I was at Wembley with Father
JibberJabber celebrating AFC Wimbledon winning the League Two playoff
final Mr JibberJabber took the rest of the crew into central London.
The main section of this street is situated between Piccadilly Circus
and Oxford Street. It is currently looking at its patriotic best
festooned with Union flags. The original name for it was the rather
unimaginative New Street. It was renamed in honour of the role King
George IV undertook whilst he was still a prince and his father,
George III, was incapacitated through mental illness.
Today the road is known for
its famous shops, Christmas decorations and and promotional events.
It is home to the Café
Royal, the first Apple shop in Europe (which at the time was the
largest in the world) and until 2005 Dickins and Jones. Master
JibberJabber though was only interested in one store and that was the
toy shop Hamleys. This week's question is
What
street is it?
We
were joined last week by Cheryl
who was also flying the Union flag with a cake. Jack
and Noah were enjoying a staycation on the beautiful
Northern Ireland coast. Five rolled down the hill for Mummy
vs Daddy. Betty
in New Zealand made the most of a early morning. Enjoying the simple
things in life were Susan
and her daughter. Kelly
was on the road to nowhere. Is it a bird, is it a plane? Well you'll
have to find out yourself with Robyn's
unveiling. Kara found her pair with hands up on the helter
skelter and also with their hands on some certificates with
Diversity.
