AnySharp Multi Sharp and Knife Sharpener review and giveaway - CLOSED

With so much happening in the kitchen and the garden of JibberJabber Towers we use a lot of tools on a daily basis. From knives to scissors to garden spades and lawn edge trimmers they all get a fair amount of batter. I have to say one thing I'm not very good at and that is keeping them sharp. We have a chef's sharpening steel in the kitchen drawer but I find it rather scary to use – waving knives in the air is not for me! Naturally I was rather pleased to be able to have the chance to try out some of the AnySharp range.

The first of their products, the AnySharp World's Best Knife Sharpener, is a handy little tool. It is small enough to be stored in a kitchen drawer or cupboard when not being used. For safety purposes it attaches to your worktop with a sucker action so your spare hand doesn't come anywhere near the blade. A lighter action is far better than being heavy handed with it. It's not just smooth blades that you can use with it as it will sharpen serrated blades like bread knives as well.

The other product is the AnySharp Multi Tool Sharpener. If you prefer a hand held sharpener this could be the one for you. At one end there is a blade to sharpen up any straight or serrated knife. Again a few light strokes is all that is needed. At the other end one the blade has been designed so it 'cleans up, hones and sharpens' both kitchen knives and garden tools. What I like about this little gadget is it is small and light enough to be kept in your gardening bag or tool box when you need to sharpen your towel or spade.

Now I've had a chance to try them out I have another set for one lucky reader of JibberJabberUK to win. The prize consists of 1 AnySharp World's Best Knife Sharpener and 1 AnySharp Multi Tool Sharpener.
