For this week I have my finger on the pulse for it has been London Fashion Week. Sadly it seems my invitation got lost in the post but I was able to take a sneak preview of The Designer Showrooms being set up. When it is not hosting the latest fashion designs this venue has had a long and confused history. The current building dates from the 18^th century but took many years to build. It has housed various government departments over the years. After the Second World War the General Register Office moved it. Still to this day many people think it is the place to go in order to obtain a copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate despite the fact the General Register Office moved out in 1970. At Christmas time the courtyard you see above is turned into a public ice rink. Therefore this week's question is

Where is the location of this London Fashion Week venue?

We had three people joining us last week. Cheryl had a trip to the beach to see a WWII bunker now covered in mirror fragments. There was a visit to see the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum for Julie. For Leyla it was half term fun with the very colourful marine life at Sea World.
