The television schedules
have been full of Churchill tributes this week and of course we've
had our finger on the pulse as usual! Instead of looking at Churchill
the statesman or Churchill the journalist it was a chance to look a
Churchill the painter with his art studio. The location of the art studio was correctly answered by
Carole, Rachel
and Laura who all knew it was
Chartwell
I've delved into the
archives again this week due to the fact the area surrounding
JibberJabberUK looks like it could be on the next series of Ice
Road Truckers. I took this photograph simply because it has both
a red K6 telephone box and a rare Victorian fluted postbox in it. I
know you may think what more could you want in a photograph but yet
there is some other historical appeal to it. Pictured behind these
two fine examples of street furniture is The Eastgate. The town where
this is situated is the county town and well-known for its famous
castle. It was once a walled town but much of the town was destroyed
during a fire in 1694. On top of The Eastgate is the small chapel of
St. Peter's. This week's question is

That's a really great photo as the bright red of the phone box jumps out at you and contrasts perfectly with the background.
