It seems not many people
have ever seen a man dressed as a dog as captured in last week's
Sunday Snap. I can't promise you that such exact scenes can be witnessed
all the time but if you fancy taking in some street performance I
suggest you take a trip to
Covent Garden
Well done to Rachel
for getting the right answer.
We're still in Covent Garden
for this week's photograph. As you can still it is a statue of a
brightly coloured Paddington Bear. Over the Christmas period a series
of Paddington Bears appeared across London forming a trail of over 50
bears. Each of these were designed by a different celebrity or
company. Not only did they give good publicity to the recent
Paddington film but when they were removed they were auctioned
off in aid of the NSPCC, ChildLine and Action Medical Research. This
Paddington was in front of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
The designer of this Paddington is familiar with the the Royal Opera
House as it is also home to The Royal Ballet. She spent her whole
career with The Royal Ballet as a principal dancer but is now
probably best known as a judge on a certain Saturday night dancing
competition. This week's question therefore is:
Who designed this
Paddington Bear?
If

share my favourites with you next week and remember I do like a bit
of a tale to go with a photo!
The Paddington trail was an excellent idea - I hope they do similar again in future x x

ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful. I didn't realise this trial was on, otherwise we may have popped up to do this with Max. I do like it when different company's / designers get involved as the outcome then is so diverse.
